+What areas do you serve?
We are based in Rochelle, IL and work throughout the surrounding towns — Ashton, Franklin Grove, Steward, Lee, Oregon, Byron, Stillman Valley, Davis Junction, Kirkland, Waterman, DeKalb, Sycamore, Genoa, Kingston, and Malta. If you are just outside that ring, ask us anyway.
+How much does a painting job cost?
Price depends on square footage, surface condition, number of colors, and how much prep is involved. Interior rooms are usually quoted per room, exteriors and decks per project. Send the estimate form and we will give you a firm written number — never a guess that changes later.
+What paints and stains do you use?
We use premium Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore products as standard, with low-VOC interior lines for occupied homes. For decks we spec the stain to the wood species and how much sun the surface takes.
+How long does deck staining take?
Most decks are a two-day job: clean and brighten on day one, let it dry, then sand and stain. We watch the forecast and will move the date rather than stain a damp board — it is the difference between a finish that lasts one season and one that lasts three or four.
+Do I need to move my furniture?
No. We move and center furniture, cover everything in plastic and canvas drops, mask floors and fixtures, and put the room back at the end of each day.
+Are you licensed and insured?
Claro Painting & Deck Staining is licensed and fully insured for residential and commercial work, so your property is covered on every visit.
+How soon can you start?
Most estimates happen within 1–2 business days, and in-season work typically starts within one to two weeks of approval. Interior jobs run year-round; exteriors and stains are scheduled around temperature and rain.
+Do you warranty your work?
Yes. Interior and exterior repaints carry a written two-year workmanship warranty, and deck stains carry a one-year finish check. If something peels or fails on us, we come back.
